Easter basket preview!
Over the past several years, I’ve moved away from stuffing lots of candy and a bunch of toys into Easter baskets and Christmas stockings. This year, partly because Arlo has been sick lately, I’ve done away with candy completely. I know that the kids will end up getting some at our neighborhood egg hunt and that’s fine, that’s enough. So, here’s a look at what’s going in the Easter baskets this year:
Crunchy coated black edamame, honey roasted peanuts and raisins to fill plastic eggs.
Punching balloons – also to stuff into plastic eggs.
Mini velvet posters with markers.
Granola bars.
Hot Wheels and a wooden lizard to paint (just for Arlo).
Silly string and glow sticks!
