You can try out your eyebrow shape before tweezing by using makeup. It looks a bit weird, but it gives you a general idea of what your face will look like before you actually pluck the hairs – before it’s too late. All you have to do is cover your brows with foundation over the parts you think you might want to tweeze. You can also use pencil or eyeshadow to fill in spaces you think you might want to let grow back.

Here I am in the summer at my in-laws with a ton of foundation caked on my brows. This look is too sparse for me.
I’ve been trying to grow back my over-plucked eyebrows for months, and over the summer I got fed up with the scraggly look of my unibrow area and wondered if it would be better to just go back to a wide space between my brows.
I want my brows to be fuller and closer together than they are now, but after years and years of plucking them back further and further, it’s proving harder than I thought to get them to come back. I’ve started on a regimen of castor oil and retinol accompanied by brushing and I’ll let you know how that goes after I’ve given it a little longer.
